Seminar Information
- What: 2 Day Muay Thai Seminar
- Who: The most important element: you. Everyone is welcome to the Muay Thai seminar event, from absolute beginners to advanced professional fighters, male and female, there will be something for everyone. Seminar will be run by genuine Thai champions including: Samart Payakaroon, Saekson Jinjira and of course Warrior Way's own Matee Jedeepitak. This is your chance to quickly elevate your Muay Thai game in one weekend.
- When: Seminar on Friday March 28 - 6 PM - 9 PM and Saturday March 29 10 AM - 1 PM. Please arrive an hour early for registration.
- Where: Warrior Way - located in Walled Lake, Michigan (48390).
- How: Doors open an hour before the start of the seminars. Arrive early and complete the neccessary paperwork. Warm up and chat with fellow Muay Thai enthusiasts. Then the various Kru's will come out and show various techniques, with each Kru focusing on a key element of their Muay Thai game. Generally you will partner up with a fellow student to practice the movement back and forth.
- Pricing: Early Registration is $80, Registration is $100.
Smoker Information - Ready to take your Muay Thai to the next level? Interested in competing against one of your fellow students? Here's your chance. After the Saturday seminar, we will be hosting an amateur smoker event at the Warrior Way facility.
- What: Amateur Muay Thai Smoker plus professional fights
- Who: Hopefully you! If you are interested in getting in the ring and getting some Muay Thai experience, we are interested in having you participate. We ask that you attend at least one day of the seminar so the Thai trainers can get a look at your skills to ensure a safe, fun matchup for you. We are looking for all skill levels, brand new fights to experienced fighters. Male or female, all sizes. We hope to have 12 or more fights on the card that evening.
- When: The fights are Saturday, March 29, 2008. Doors open at 6 and the first fight goes on at 7 PM. Fighters should begin weighing in at 4 PM the day of the fights.
- Fighter Information: Fighters will be required to supply appropriate groin protection, hand wraps and mouth piece. It is recommended fighters bring their own head gear, gloves (16 ounce) and shin guards. Warrior Way can provide these elements if you prefer. Fights will be 3 - 2 minute rounds with a 1 minute break between rounds. 3 judges will present to score the fights for fights going the distance. There will be no elbows strikes, knee strikes will be allowed but not to the head.

Smoker: If you wish to participate in the smoker, please shoot me an email and I will get you on our list. In your email, please detail the following:
Your name, email address, school information (name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail address if possible), your height and weight, your record (include all amateur events - smokers, other martial arts, boxing, etc...) and how long you have trained Muay Thai.
